Hi there
Welcome to the 3rd post of the Captains blog.
In this post I am showing how I have rigged my new Southern Pacific shearwater 2.8m inflatable tender with RAILBLAZA accessories which can be easily transferred from my Jeanneau Sun Odyssey Sailboat.
I have fitted 8 RIBPorts and 1 CleatPort RIB Mount ready for action.
2 of the RibPorts are fitted to receive Oar Rowlocks. The RIBPorts allow me to easily remove and stow the oars allowing the RIBPorts to be used for Rod holders or other accessories.
Rod holders fitted.
We fitted 2 RIBPorts on either side aft of the seat. These are spaced at 200mm centres to allow the Baitboard to be transferred from the rail on the Jeanneau to either side of the inflatable.
The forward area is set up with 2 extra RIBPorts for extra Rod holders and a CleatPort for securing an anchor.
The CleatPort can also be used for another Rod holder or a light when I am fishing at night.
When I am finished with the tender I remove all the accessories and either stow them away or transfer them back to the Jeanneau to be re-tasked.
Ross.
